RE - Reverse Engineering
Reverse Engineering is a tool commonly used in PD and tool & die rebuild. We have the software and skills necessary to reverse engineer any part/tool you need in 3D CAD. We have reversed products from as little as a 0.25″ drill bit to as big as a full-sized building. We can handle your needs despite the size or complexity. …and even return models in your native format.
Whether it is using data from napkin drawings or 3D point clouds, GARRETT ES’s Reverse Engineering services will meet your needs. With our vast engineering background and point cloud tools, we are able to provide suitable solutions to your reverse engineering needs. We work with your laser-scanned data or we can have parts scanned to duplicate and modify existing products with no tooling information. Our tolerances and deliverable formats are flexible to your demands.

CAD - CAD Support
RA - Reverse Architecture
From modeling to legacy data, we are able to help your engineering team stay focused on value-added work. Leave your non-value-added work to us. In many cases we can reduce your cost (time and money) to create prints, convert old drawings/models, or even modify models to your company’s standards.
Using your existing math data, our engineers will provide updated drawings that conform to your current standards.
We work with your engineering group to transfer data from old file formats such as hand drawings and 2D drawings to your native 3D CAD files. We work with your libraries and settings to deliver a seamless integration.
Need help developing standards or databases? We can help there too. Our team has successfully built libraries of common parts, assemblies, library features, notes, and blocks. We have worked with many companies using various practices to improve their databases so their engineering teams can focus on design.
Converting egacy data now will save time and efforts in the future. GARRETT ES can convert any 2D geometry and 3D geometry to SolidWorks, ProE/Creo, Unigraphics, Inventor, or even Catia V5.
Sometimes converting hand-drawn 2D legacy data costs too much, and you really do not need to change the drawings. In these cases, we can deliver high resolution PDFs to allow old prints to also be searchable electronically, keeping all of your data in one place.
RA is Reverse Architectural services--our solution to creating 3D models, prints, renderings, and animations of existing building structures and landmarks. We have partners that can scan your structures using long range scanners.
In this emerging field, GARRETT ENGINEERING is one of the pioneers of capturing and communicating old design elements to be used in new construction and in historically documenting the past. Software, such as point tools and Revit, allows our engineers and architects to translate the data to where you need it.

Organic Modeling: We create some impossible shapes engineers are not able to recreate using standard CAD software. We have talented individuals with an artistic flair who can manipulate and create very organic shapes in 3D model space.

Using laser, white light, blue light, touch probe, and CT scanning technologies, GARRETT ES is able to capture most any physical detail needed in your 3D designs.
